Prenatal Yoga

During pregnancy your body goes through many changes, which creates stress on you mentally and physically. A way to maintain a healthy mind and body is prenatal yoga.

Practicing yoga while pregnant is one of the best ways to keep your body feeling good and your mind in balance.

The calmer and more relaxed moms are, the calmer their babies are.

Prenatal yoga class focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility.

Yoga helps to prepare for the birth – it encourages breath and body awareness, reduces worry and teaches women to adapt to new situations.
And yoga continues to have benefits after pregnancy, too. Postnatal yoga, which can be started about six weeks after the birth, strengthens abdominal muscles and your pelvic floor. It also helps you to get back to your pre-pregnancy shape faster.
