Thai massage

Thai massage or Thai Yoga massage is a traditional therapy combining pressure techniques, Ιndian Ayurvedic principles and assisted yoga postures, dating back to 2500 years. It uses no oils or lotions, and the recepient remains clothed, preferably with loose and comfortable clothing, during the tratment, which takes place on a mat or mattress on the floor.

While in other massage therapies there is mostly rubbing on muscles in Thai massage the body is compresses, pulled, streched and rocked. The recepient is positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, that is also combined with deep static and rythmic pressures.
A full Thai massage session may last from 1 up to 2 hours, depending on the needs of the recipient.
